Papers concerning the "Pocahontas Bell" cast for the 1907 Jamestown Exposition [manuscript], 1907-1986.

Papers re: the Pocahontas Bell include copies of pertinent pages from Flora Adams Darling's "1607-1907. Memories of Virginia, A souvenir of founding days"; clippings, 1957, from the Charlottesville Daily Progress, re: the hunt for, and location of the bell, which though a gift to the University of Virginia, was never hung there; and a letter, 1985 Nov. 27, from Berkeley to Daniel M. Hawks re: the present location of the bell. Also present is a pin that says "P.B.A. Great Oaks from little acorns grow" which belonged to Anne Sanford MacDonald Green. The pin is supposed to be a replica of the Pocahontas Bell made for the Jamestown Exposition in 1907.
